Solid Top access covers are fitted into a rebate so that the top of the cover is finished flush with the ground level. Solid Top Covers can be trafficked in areas with slow moving traffic (under 20mph).
Cubis’ range of steel fabricated access covers are designed to suit each installation. Requirements such as size of opening, valve equipment and expected rate of zinc corrosion are considered before a final design is produced for approval.
Along with other options and accessories to improve performance, these access covers can be equipped with security features to help prevent unwanted access.
Solid top access covers are not accredited to LPCB security standards but are suitable for areas that are not rated as high-risk. For LPCB rated access covers, please see Citadel.
Applications
- Upstand access covers are suitable for areas that are not trafficked. They are intended to sit proud of the finished surface.
- Upstand access covers are suitable for rural and urban locations with low to medium risk of vandalism.
